Qurban, which in the dictionary means approaching, means getting closer to God, is a religious term that refers to the proper slaughtering of an animal that meets certain conditions for the purpose of worship, on the days of Eid al-Adha, and the animal slaughtered for this purpose. Every believer who is intelligent, free, settled and rich according to religious standards or who has the means, sacrifices his animal in order to gain divine consent. In this way, he helps those who are financially insufficient and cannot donate, and at the same time, he gets closer to God Almighty. The worship of sacrifice has been going on for centuries as one of the worships that are considered the motto of Islamic societies. It is also a sign that a Muslim is ready to sacrifice his entire existence in the way of Allah when necessary.
